Festival of Flamenco Arts & Traditions Direct from Spain and guitarist Antonio Rey present "Flamenco a Través de Ti" - a concert with Mara Rey (cante/baile), Pedro el Granaíno (cante), and guest appearance by Carola Zertuche (baile).
Antonio Rey is one of the most sought after young guitarists in Spain today. Currently lead guitar for both Farruquito and Los Farruco, he has also worked with Manuela Carrasco, Antonio Canales, Joaquín Cortes, Juan de Juan, Rafael Amargo and Andrés Marín, among others. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the 2008 "Niño Ricardo" award.
In town for the Bay Area Flamenco Partnership's Festival of Flamenco Arts and Traditions, Antonio Rey, Mara Rey and Pedro el Graníino will also appear with Los Farruco on Friday, March 6th at the Palace of Fine Arts.
