Hip-Hop in many ways reflects the broader patriarchal society. Join women as they challenge those patriarchal norms in Queendom: a fundraiser for A Safe Place. The show will features women center stage. Witness ladies representing all 4 elements - graf writing, breakin', MCing, DJing - as they always have. Performers include: Pam: The Funkstress, DJ Zita, Celskiii, Deeandroid, Conscious Daughters, Josie Stingray, Aima the Dreamer, Bodirock Culture, De La Femme, Tendaroni & Crew, Crix Ivy Karina. Art display and live paintings by: Dime, Slide, and Lucha E.S.P.
