Buyepongo is a 6-piece ensemble that utilizes heavy percussive rhythms fused with tropical influenced horn lines. An always evolving sound rooted in the Cumbia beat with a touch of merengue and a dose of punta.
Buyepongo is the outcome of years in music exploration, integrating indigenous, African, Antillean, and rumbero rhythms. These abstract polyrhythmic beats have been hand picked and carefully arranged to fulfill your heart, soul, and legs!
