Beyond Walls, Beyond Wars: Arab Cultural Initiative is launched
Beyond Walls, Beyond Wars: Arab Cultural Initiative is an opportunity for La Peña and the Arab Cultural and Community Center to partner in bringing greater visibility to the outstanding contributions of Arab Americans to the cultural and artistic life in the United States in general and to the Bay Area in particular. The Initiative comprises more than 14 performances to be held throughout 2007, most of which will take place at La Peña Cultural Center, and a few at the Arab Cultural and Community Center in San Francisco. Some of the artists are local to the Bay Area, but others come from throughout the United States.
