July 2 - August 31.Tsunami Affected Lives - Moving Beyond Disaster. Color photos by Adrienne Miller. This exhibition visually exposes the conditions of the coastal villages of Untouchables that were affected by the tsunami in December 2004. Though the tsunami occurred more than two years ago, it takes many years to recover, especially if marginalized, poor and stigmatized communities bear the brunt of the natural disaster. I hope this exhibition helps to put a face on those that the global community has a tendency to forget. Exhibit Opening Party in the Lobby. Saturday, July 14. 4:30-6pm.
