Film Forum with SF delegation that attended the 75th anniversary of the 1932 genocide. Ama: La Memoria del Tiempo/Memory of Time (63 min.) is a documentary on Jose Feliciano Ama, spiritual grandmaster, and Chief of the Izalcos, a Nahua-Pipil Nation of El Salvador and his family, the survivors of the 1932 genocide. An intimate quest of Don Juan Ama, to clear his uncle’s name and restore the family and tribal dignity. Filmmaker Daniel Flores will be present to answer questions.
