La Peña launches California's Música Mexicana / California's Mexican Music Series. A multi-part series of music from Mexico's five distinctive geographic regions. Jose Cuellar, Ph.D. (a.k.a. Dr. Loco), noted Xicano musician and SFSU professor, will host the events, engaging the featured artists in lively panel discussions followed by exceptional evenings of música mexicana!
Tonight the series presents Panorama Musical Mexicano: Dr. Loco's Rockin' Jalapeño Band & La Familia Peña-Govea plus special guests!
