Come and join us for a celebration of the Nicaraguan Revolution. We will be looking at the significant gains the Nicaraguan people achieved in their struggle for democracy through elections. Adrian Carrasco Zanini will screen three of his films on the first and second democratic elections after the fall of the Somoza dictatorship, plus a short documentary on the first homage paid by the people to Carlos Fonseca Amador, the founder of the FSLN. The films: Nicaragua for the First Time, Nicaragua: a Vote Under War, and Comandante Carlos Fonseca. There will be a Q&A with the director.
