Project Cimarrona presents Cimarronaje-(Cee*ma*ron*ah*je refers to the acts of rebellion by the Cimarrones). Cimarrones are the Africans self-liberated from slavery in the Caribbean. The program tonight is a community dialogue: Deconstructing Tradition, Modernity and Femininity in Afro Puerto Rican Bomba & bombazo.
