A night of visionary speakers, performance and mixed media dedicated to the movement for cultural, ecological and spiritual upliftment. This event is a part of the Communitree Festival, a new arts, ecology and healing activation series for community empowerment.
Panel Discussion on “The Ecology and Economy of Community,” w/ Brahm Ahmadi (founder of Peoples Grocery), Javier Reyes (Artistic Dir, Colored Ink), Kemba Shakur (Urban Releaf), Beth Waitkus (Insight Garden Project), and special guest Drew Dellinger (Poets for Global Justice). Moderated by Davey D (hard knock radio).

A Benefit to support Art In Action's new Green Media Arts Center to serve Oakland youth: "First of its kind" Green Media Center to provide healing, education, and "green job" preparedness for youth across Oakland.
